The City of Agoura Hills makes an effort to produce pertinent and timely information. As technology and informational outlets have changed, the City also has adopted policies that allow for the usage of social media outlets such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and NextDoor.

To ensure that informational outlets can continue to be utilized and used as intended, the City has adopted a Social Media Policy.  Violation of these standards may result in the removal of posts from the City's social media outlets. City staff and participants should refer to item 12 in the attached document.

City staff and participants of the informational outlets should read and understand the policy and how it will be implemented.

Use of social media sites should also include an understanding that information posted on these sites becomes public information and there should be no expectation of privacy in regards to the information posted.
