TIME OF FORUM: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
LOCATION OF FORUM: Corner of Colodny Drive and Driver Avenue
Agoura Hills, California 91301
Description:
City staff has worked closely with Sol Haus Design, DiCecco Architecture Incorporated, Jensen Design and Survey, and Studio Landscape to create a concept design for an affordable sustainable small homes housing project located on Housing Element Site F, which is located on the corner of Colodny Drive and Driver Avenue (see vicinity map below).
The purpose of this public forum is to seek feedback on the concept design from neighboring property owners, businesses, and interested community members. City staff and our consultants have worked hard to create a concept plan that incorporates design elements we know are important to the community while also achieving our housing goals.
You can view the concept plans here: Concept Plans

Background:
Pursuant to California law and the Agoura Hills Municipal Code (AHMC), housing developers are required to provide a minimum amount of affordable housing units for very-low income, low-income, and moderate-income households. The City’s inclusionary housing ordinance (AHMC §9133) provides developers the flexibility to pay an in-lieu fee rather than provide the affordable housing units on site. The in-lieu fees collected by the City must be expended to provide housing that is affordable to the different income categories noted above. The housing units produced on this site will be 100% affordable and will be constructed using in-lieu fees.
