Deborah Klein Lopez is a dedicated public servant who has made a tangible difference in the fields of government, education, public health, environmental justice and economic equality. Her broad reach of activism has included serving as a Director of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains, leading a school district parcel tax measure to success, managing a winter homeless shelter for nearly 20 years and working with the California State Senate and Assembly.

Deborah graduated with honors from Northwestern University with a dual degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics.

An avid hiker who grew up in Agoura Hills and was greatly influenced by its proximity to the Santa Monica Mountains, Deborah returned with her husband Fabricio to raise their three children in her hometown. She was re-elected to the Agoura Hills City Council in November of 2022 for a four-year term.
