City policy requires that all general-purpose local governments, within six months of the close of each fiscal year, publish a complete set of financial statements presented in conformity with generally accepted account principles (GAAP) and audited in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards by a firm of licensed certified public accountants.  The Annual  Comprehensive Finance Report is a statement of the City's short-term and long-term financial standing.
