With the passage of Assembly Bill 26 (ABX 26) Redevelopment Agencies within the State of California were dissolved as of February 1, 2012. Each Redevelopment Agency was allowed to designate a successor agency to serve in the purpose of winding down the Redevelopment Agency's activities and liquidating all assets. The City of Agoura Hills was designated to serve as the Successor Agency, but as a separate legal entity called the Successor Agency for the Agoura Hills Redevelopment Agency.

Successor Agency meetings are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month as needed and will start at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter, following the Agoura Hills City Council Meeting. For questions or further information, please contact Nathan Hamburger, Director of the Successor Agency (City Manager), at Nhamburger@agourahillscity.org or (818) 597-7308.
