MARKETING AND MERCHANDISING INTELLIGENCE REPORT WORKSHOP VIDEO - JULY 27, 2010
As part of the City's Economic Development program the City sought to look at the trade or market area that exists for Agoura HIlls businesses. The Buxton Company was brought on as a partner to assist in gathering and interpreting consumer data and establishing a business attraction and retenion program. The information gathered assists the City in attracting the right businesses to relocate or expand in this community, allowing the community to strategically grow. The data collected is also valuable for existing local businesses as it can be utilized to help in marketing to the correct customers through the most effective means and it assists in fully understanding the habits of consumers within the trade area.
On July 27, 2010 the City hosted a workshop on the use of this data (Consumer Propensity Report) with the assistance of Lisa Hill from the Buxton Company. The reports below are split up into various business categories and may be used best in a Microsoft Excel format where you can hide unwanted business categories and utilize only those relevant to you.
