Reduced Fees for Solar Panel and Energy Efficient Window Installations

On September 22, 2010, Council adopted a pilot program to reduce the costs of plan reviews and permit issuances of solar panels and energy-efficient window replacements.

Today that same program (and prices!) continues to help our community move towards using clean power and improving energy efficiency – all of which support the City’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.

Solar Panel Installation

To submit a proposed solar panel installation for review, please email your Building Permit Application and site plans to SolarPermits@AgouraHillsCity.org. You may also submit your application and plans in person at City Hall, Building & Safety Division.

(Don’t forget to look into the Federal Tax Credit for Solar PV for extra savings!)

 Window Replacement

For window inspections, please email your Building Permit Application and site plans to Permits@AgouraHillsCity.org. You may also submit your application and site plans in person at City Hall, Building & Safety Division.
