The City of Agoura Hills is surrounded by open space and mountainous terrain. We are dedicated to preserving an accessible and clean environment for generations to come.

Our City has partnered with LVMWD to reduce our water consumption by 25%. We have also implemented the SB 1383 organics waste recycling program educating residents. We lead by example with including an in-house organics bin. Also, we are powered by Clean Power Alliance, Green Power electricity for Agoura Hills providing 100% renewable content.

Our environmental and sustainability efforts are supported by the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan delivering a foundation on how the City will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change.
