Ladyface Greenway is an innovative transportation hub that will offer outdoor recreational and non-motorized transit opportunities, including walking, biking, and equestrian trails.

Seating area, educational art elements and butterfly gardens benefit the City’s community members.  To accomplish this project, the City has partnered with national, regional, and local organizations and offered community outreach programs to best meet the needs of Agoura Hills residents. 

Funding for construction of the project has been made available through the California Department of Parks and Recreation and LA County Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) Regional funds (Measure R and M). Thanks to the support of the Las Virgenes Malibu COG Supervisor and Assembly member.

The  Ladyface Greenway will be located on top of the existing Los Angeles County runoff channel running along Agoura Road east of Cornell Road.

 The Greenway's main goals and benefits are to:

• Encourage sustainability by establishing Bioswales capable of treating 1100 CF of water.
• Create recreational opportunities and increase pedestrian, equestrian, and bike path connectivity for visitors and residents, as well as informal/interactive play area and art walk.
• Bolster the City's urban greening efforts by transforming the existing concrete channel into a natural and native recreation area.
• Acknowledge and honor the indigenous people who inhabited this land through the re-establishment of local ecosystems through the use of native plants.

Community Involvement

The City of Agoura Hills puts the community first. In our timeline, we want to engage with the youth of Agoura Hills through the Civic Engagement Program at Agoura High School and educational programs with our elementary schools.
