What are the operating hours of City Hall?

The Agoura Hills City Hall is open Monday - Thursday from 7am to 5pm and Fridays from 7am to 4pm. The Planning Department counter will also be open during these hours.

What is the address and how do I get to City Hall?

City Hall is located at 30001 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills, CA 91301

Traveling from Los Angeles on the 101, take the Reyes Adobe Road exit, turn left on Reyes Adobe, cross back over the freeway and turn left on Agoura Road. Just past the Renaissance Hotel (on the right) and the Agoura Town Shopping Center (on your left) turn right on to Ladyface Court.

If you are traveling from Ventura, take the Reyes Adobe Road exit and turn right on Reyes Adobe Road, then left on Agoura Road, and right on Ladyface Court.

When and where are the City Council/Planning Commission meetings?

City Council - The City Council holds regularly scheduled meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, beginning at 6:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend the meetings, you are still able to watch the meetings live via the City's website or watch past meetings for issues of concern to you.

Planning Commission - The Planning Commission meets the first and third Thursday of each month. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:30 p.m.

How do I obtain a passport?

Passports are available through the following agencies:

Van Nuys Post Office located at 15701 Sherman Way, Van Nuys or by calling (800) 275-8777. 
Oxnard Post Office located at 1961 N. C Street, Oxnard or by calling (805) 278-7615.

Where can I get a marriage license or birth certificate?

The City does not issue marriage licenses or birth certificates. If you are a Los Angeles County resident, call the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk at (562) 462-2137. If you are a Ventura County resident, contact Ventura County Clerk/Recorder's Office at (805) 654-3788.

If I live in Oak Park, am I part of the City of Agoura Hills?

Oak Park is in Ventura County and is not a part of Agoura Hills. When the City of Agoura Hills incorporated in 1982, certain areas were not annexed or included in its boundaries. Oak Park is part of that area and is serviced by Ventura County. Other parts of Agoura that are not included in the limits of the City of Agoura Hills, are located in the unincorporated portion of the County of Los Angeles (including Malibu Lake) and serviced by Los Angeles County agencies.

Where do I take care of traffic tickets?

Where is the courthouse?

The Superior Court of California - County of Los Angeles serves our area. All matters relating to small claims, civil and criminal matters should be made directly through the Court. As different services are provided by different courthouses, please check the website (Courthouses in Los Angeles) to determine which division and/or courthouse will best serve your needs.

How do I dispose of hazardous waste?

Hazardous waste collections are held the first Saturday of every other month from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot. Collection months are July, September, November, January, March, and May.  The recycling program accept oil filters, anti-freeze, motor oil & latex paint. Who do I call to report illegal dumping?

It is illegal to dump any materials on the public right of way or on private property.  To report an illegal dumping incident, please call the Engineering/Public Works department at (818) 597-7329.
